Terms of Use & Sale

These terms apply to your use of www.mokubee.com and to any purchase from Mokubee LLC ("Mokubee," "we," "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission and supervision, to purchase from us. Our products are intended for adults.

2. Orders, pricing and availability

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax and shipping are calculated at checkout.
Products shown as "Sold out" or "Coming soon" are not available to order. Product pages for items in development describe our plans, which may change. Nothing on those pages is an offer to sell.
An order is accepted only when we ship it. We may refuse or cancel any order, for example because of a pricing or description error, suspected fraud, or limited stock. If we cancel after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
Colors on screen are approximate. RAL codes are provided as a reference, and actual filament color can vary slightly between batches and displays.

3. Print settings and technical information

Print settings, temperature tests, specifications and other technical information we provide are general guidance and a starting point only. Results depend on your printer, slicer, environment and setup. We do not guarantee any particular result, and you are responsible for testing and validating parts for your own use.

4. Safe use

3D printers have hot surfaces and moving parts. Never leave a running printer unattended, and follow your printer manufacturer's safety instructions.
Print in a well-ventilated area. Heating plastics releases fumes and fine particles.
Carbon fiber filaments are abrasive and can produce fine dust when sanded or cut. Use a hardened nozzle, and wear a dust mask and eye protection when post-processing.
Keep filament and printed parts away from small children and pets.
Do not use our products, or parts printed with them, for food contact, medical, life-safety, load-critical or other high-risk applications unless you have independently tested and confirmed they are suitable and meet all applicable requirements.

5. Warranty and disclaimer

If a product arrives defective, our Returns & Refunds Policy explains what we'll do. Except as stated there, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our products, the site and all information on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some states don't allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mokubee will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including damage to printers or other equipment, failed prints, lost time, lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product that gave rise to the claim. Some states don't allow these limits, so some may not apply to you.

7. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Mokubee against claims arising from your misuse of our products, your use of them in violation of these terms, or items you design, print, sell or distribute.

8. Content and trademarks

The Mokubee name, logo, images, text and downloadable files on this site belong to Mokubee LLC. You may download our test print files for personal use. Please don't copy or resell our content without permission. Third-party product and brand names are the property of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

9. California Proposition 65

Some products carry a Proposition 65 warning. Where it applies, the warning is shown on the product page and on the packaging. For more information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lamar County, Texas, unless the law of your home state requires otherwise. Before filing any claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
